Jesus supporting terrorism and mass murder? I'm not so sure.
Well, yes, I admit the drawing is somewhat ambiguous. But I think the artist's intentions are clear, that Jesus practiced a radical form of forgiveness- even for the likes of Osama (or George W. Bush). But forgiveness presupposes repentance and there is something slightly unnerving about Osama's smile in this portrait. Still, I think it's worthwhile remembering that vengeance is not a part of the gospel message of Jeshua, the wandering prophet from Nazareth.
